Switzerland - Card with local currency

If you ever wondered that open local account in Switzerland its easy stuff...well be my guest, cos its absolutely not, at least for those who get Permit L.

So where to start...
1st - most of internet stores will not accept foreign credit cards, but some of em can deal with paypal with extra 2-5%. And to be honest its such pain in the a.. :(, that one day you realize that to buy even game from MS Store for kiddos you have to dance with VPNs, mobile fill ups, etc. Anyway, you could try to visit some of the local banks, BUT without work permit they dont look at you at all, even if you want put 100K on depo. For me it was redicoulous nonsense, I have money, I want to spent em, but I just cant...cos I dont have work permit to open local account.

Here is part how to solve this in legal way (Disclaimer - I do not guarantee that this is safe way to keep all your savings)
- Go to playmarket, or app store find - Revolut from Revolut LTD (you can google this one to check who and how)
- Request virtual card in local currency
- Pass the checks with Permit L
- Get your account in Francs
- Link your card to Google pay

From this point you can start spent your money on services - Netflix, Disney+, etc and online shops are also happy to accept payments from this card. Its easy to fill-up it from your other Google Pay card, and to be honest its easiest way to open child cards for your 7+ old kids (for extra charge of course, but its worth every penny). I hate to give, use or keep cash in my pockets so for me it was extremly usable. On top of et Revolut app seems easy to use and nice to have as a cover.ss in case you loose/block your foreign bank card.

Cheers!
